How do I Operate a Blender Braun Type 418?

Braun blenders are easy to open and operate.

The Braun Company manufactures a wide variety of household tools and appliances, including grooming products for men and women, hair care styling tools and kitchen and household items. The company produces several varieties of blenders, including the 418 line of upright blenders. There are a few steps to correctly operate a Braun 418 type blender, including opening and using the item.

• Warm water

Instructions

1. Assemble the blender jar by turning it upside down and inserting the blade into the bottom. Place the plastic gasket on the bottom of the blade and then screw the base onto the jar in a clockwise motion. Reverse these steps to open the bottom of the jar and remove the gasket and the blade for cleaning purposes.

2. Place the food to be blended into the jar and set the jar on top of the blender base.

3. Insert the plastic measuring cap into the top of the lid and turn it in a clockwise motion to lock it into place. To open the measuring cap, turn it in a counterclockwise motion and lift it out of the lid.

4. Blend until desired consistency is reached. To open the jar after the contents have been blended, lift the lid off of the top of the blender jar and pour the contents into desired container.

5. Lift the jar off the blender base when finished. Fill with clean water and place the lid back on top of the jar. Set it on the blender base and pulse several times to agitate the water and clean the jar. Remove the jar from the blender and rinse with warm water until clean.
