Making Car Decals at Home
Car decals enhance the appearance of your car and can be used on vehicles from small, model cars to professional racing cars. Give your car the look you want by designing and making your own decals. The process is simple and you can do it at home. If you decide to make more than one decal at a time, you don't need to apply them all at once. You can save the decals for later--just make sure you keep them in a dark place away from sunlight to prevent the ink from fading.

3
Cut out the decal from the paper with sharp scissors and run it under water for a few seconds. You need to let it dry completely after washing it off.
-
4
Apply a thin layer of decal adhesive to the car where you want to attach the decal. This will make the decal adhere to the car better.
-
5
Once the decal has dried, peel off the backing paper. If the backing is difficult to remove, use tweezers to avoid touching the back of the decal.
-
6
Press the decal onto the car, over the adhesive you applied. Start at one edge of the decal and work slowly toward the other edge to avoid developing pockets of air underneath.
-
7
Spray over the entire decal with UV protective spray to prevent the decal from being affected by exposure to the sun.

Do not try to remove the decal once you put it on or you could damage the paint finish; so make sure you are happy with its position before sealing it.
