on 8/30/2006 The purpose of the dribbling between the leg is to shield the ball from defenders. So when you dribble between your legs, make sure to keep your feet or knees between the defender and the ball, so when they reach for it, all they will get is your knee.

on 8/8/2006 Drive in at top speed, then as you approach a defender, slow down, dribble the ball between your legs and drive to the basket.

on 11/22/2005 This trick can be used in a game situation, but it is best for one-on-one. While dribbling, be ready to dribble between your legs. When your defender reaches for the ball, dribble between your legs to move the ball out of the way, then blow by your defender while he is off-balance.

on 11/22/2005 Don't just dribble it back and forth between your legs the same way, switch it up. You can do a dribble walk - dribble it under your left leg, take a step with your right leg, and dribble it under that leg. It adds much more style than standing still and going back and forth.
