Listen to the news, watch movies and television shows in both languages. Watch English movies with Spanish subtitles and Spanish movies with English subtitles. Listen to both languages every day for a set length of time to improve your fluency.

Join an online language exchange program such as italki or My Language Exchange. You will meet online and communicate via instant message and voice chat with a person who wants to learn your native language and who speaks Spanish or English.

Attend Spanish and/or English language classes. Adult education centers in most communities offer low-cost English classes, and Spanish classes and conversation groups are available in many communities as well.
