How to Make a Robot Baby
Making a robot baby as an arts-and-crafts project can involve using simple items like painted cereal boxes, or complex materials such as metal tubes soldered together. The most interactive method--and the one described here--is to make a robot baby puppet. Children can do this engaging activity either by themselves or with adult supervision and interaction.
Things You'll Need

Instructions

-
1
Organize all materials on a table. To make working with children easier, pour materials such as buttons, sequins and other fun glueables into individual bowls.
-
2
Lay down a place mat over a child's workspace. This will make for easy clean up later.
-
-
3
Take out one paper lunch sack from the package. Turn upside down and flat side down. This way, the bag can be made a puppet by utilizing the fold as a mouth.
-
4
Decorate the bag with markers, pipe cleaners, tinfoil, or any other craft supply you have on hand. The puppet can be made to look especially robotic by covering it in shiny aluminum foil or tinfoil.
-
5
Add details that make it clear it is a baby robot, such as a baby bonnet cut from felt or lace, or a paper pacifier.
-
6
Set aside to dry. Once all the glue has dried, children can play with their new baby robot puppet.
