Tips & Warnings
Pick colors to match the holiday, like red with white for Valentine's Day, orange with black for Halloween, red with green for Christmas. Gather tape, scissors, stapler, construction paper, ribbons, wrapping paper, colored tissue paper and holiday-themed decorations in one place.
Keep chocolate candy to a minimum in hot climates as it will melt and create an unpleasant look to the door.
Purchase lights that can be battery or solar operated to cut down on electric costs.
