    1. End Associated Processes

        Press "Ctrl" + "Shift" + "Escape." The Windows Task Manager opens. Note that Windows 7 users can also open the Task Manager by clicking "Start" and typing "Task Manager" into the "Search Programs and Files" box and pressing "Enter."

        Click on the "Processes" tab of the Task Manager and then click "Show Processes From All Users."

        Right-click on "Trojan-GameThief.Win32.WOW.ipp" and select "End Process."

      Delete Registry Entries

        Click "Start" and type "regedit" into the "Search Programs and Files" box and press "Enter." The Registry Editor opens. Note that if you are using a version of Windows prior to Windows Vista, you will need to click "Start" and then "Run" and type "regedit" into the Run box and click "OK."

        Right-click on "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Trojan-GameThief.Win32.WOW.ipp" in the left pane of the Registry Editor and select "Delete."

        Close the Registry Editor.

      Delete Files

        Click "Start" and type "Trojan-GameThief.Win32.WOW.ipp" into the "Search Programs and Files" box.

        Right-click on each file that appears in the results list and includes "Trojan-GameThief.Win32.WOW.ipp" in the name. Note that these files may have different extensions, such as ".exe" and ".dll."

        Restart your computer.
