There are a number of browsers that feature weather-related toolbars you can install. These toolbars include weather forecasts, current temperatures and other weather-related information. The process to follow when adding weather to a toolbar differs, depending on which browser you use and which kind of toolbar you add to the browser.

Instructions

  1. Firefox---Forecastfox

      Visit the Forecastfox add-on page.

      Click "Add to Firefox."

    • 3

      Select "Install Now." Restart Firefox. You have now added weather to a Firefox toolbar.

    Internet Explorer---The Weather Channel Toolbar

      Visit the "The Weather Channel Toolbar for IE8" page in the "Add-ons" Gallery.

      Click "Add to Internet Explorer."

    • 6

      Click "Run" twice. Click "Continue," "Next" and "Accept."

    Google Chrome---The Weather Channel

      Visit the "Clickweather for Chrome" extension page.

    • 8

      Click "Install."

    • 9

      Click "Install" again and input your local information into the form that appears. Click "Save."
