How to Compare Health Insurance Plans From AARP
AARP (formerly the American Association for Retired People) was founded in 1958 by Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus. It is a nonprofit, nonpartisan membership organization that helps members, ages 50 and over, by enhancing the quality of lives for older people. Although AARP does not actually insure people, it assists them in determining what health insurance best fits them. Therefore, AARP created a website specifically to aid in comparison of health insurance plans.
