How to Make Cranberry Sauce With Red Wine
This cranberry sauce is great for any occasion. It also makes a nice addition to an Asian-American inspired feast. Makes 2 1/2 cups. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 1 large pinch Chinese five-spice powder
- 2 c. fresh cranberries
- 3 tbsp. chopped crystallized ginger
- 1 tsp. curry powder
- 1 tbsp. minced fresh ginger root
- 2 c. red wine such as Pinot Noir
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- Plastic Wrap
- Groceries
- Mixing Spoons
- Saucepans

Heat oil in a saucepan over medium-high heat.

Add crystallized ginger, curry powder, five-spice powder and salt and pepper to taste.
