Designer perfumes or store-bought fragrances can be very costly. It's possible to experiment with fragrances at home. Only a few ingredients are needed to make your own perfume, and the process is quite simple. Once you make the perfume, it should be poured into a glass bottle and stored at room temperature. Things You'll Need

  • Essential oil
  • 2 1/2 oz. vodka
  • 2 tbsp. distilled water
  • Bowl
  • Spoon
  • Glass bottle

Instructions

      Pour 2 1/2 oz. vodka into a bowl.

      Add 4 drops of your favorite essential oil to the vodka. Stir the two ingredients together slowly.

      Wait two days for the mixture to sit.

      Add 2 tbsp. distilled water to the mixture.

    • 5

      Wait another two days for the fragrance to sit.

    • 6

      Smell the scent, and decide if you like it or not.

    • 7

      Add more or less essential oil to the mixture next time, depending if you want it stronger or less strong.
