How to Make a Free Safe Website

Having your own website can be useful or even vital for a number of reasons, including wanting to set up a "club" page, starting a new business or just wanting your own space on the Internet. There are lots of ways to get some space, from blogs to professionally built and personalized templates, but there are some great free, safe and easy-to-use website creators as well.

Instructions

1. Visit webs.com.

2. Choose a website type from the list. "Personal" will fit most uses. Click "Get Started."

3. Fill out the form to set up a "Webs" account and to make your first Web page.

4. Select a template from the examples shown. Remember that you can change this later.

5. Click "Continue."

6. Follow the on-screen instructions to add different elements to your website, so it is completely personalized to your needs.

7. Click "Publish."

Tips & Warnings

• If you'd like to have a domain that doesn't include "Webs," buy your own and import it into Webs.
