How to Delete Notepad.Exe
Notepad.exe is an executable file associated with the Windows Notepad, a data-entry program that allows you to take quick notes and write small word documents. Opening this file will launch the Notepad program. This file comes pre-installed on any computer operating with any version of Microsoft Windows. The file itself is harmless and not associated with any malware or malicious programs. If you would like to delete this file, it is possible to do so using Microsoft Windows.

Click the "Start" button on your desktop.

Click the "Search" button at the bottom of the "Start" menu. This will cause the search window to launch in Microsoft XP.

Click "All Files and Folders" when asked what you would like to search for.

Type "Notepad.exe" into the search box and then press "Enter" or click "OK." This will cause your computer to search for and display the Notepad.exe file in the right-hand window pane.

Right-click on "Notepad.exe" and click "Delete." Click "Yes" to confirm the deletion of the file. This will cause the file to be sent to the Recycle Bin on your desktop.

Right-click on the Recycle Bin shortcut on your desktop and choose "Empty Recycle Bin" to permanently delete Notepad.exe.
