How to Create Online Learning
The Internet makes accessing new information very convenient. Online learning content can be created and distributed in the form of tutorials, e-books, e-courses or video modules. Since you'll be doing everything online, inventory and shipping costs are not issues to be concerned with when creating this type of information. Understanding how to create online learning materials provides an effective way of reaching a global market.

1
Produce instructional videos. You can create short videos to share with your intended audience on any topic you can think of. For example, you could create a video illustrating how to bleach your hair, how to sew a button or how to cook homemade marinara sauce. You or someone else can film each step as you narrate. Once the video is complete, you can upload it for viewing.

2
Write e-books and e-workbooks. Like other e-learning products, e-books and e-workbooks are appealing because you can get the information you need in quickly without leaving your computer. When writing an e-book, create an outline to help organize the content. Use strong, attention-grabbing headlines, graphics and case studies that successfully illustrate the benefits of what you are teaching.

3
Conduct informative webinars. Web conferencing tools like Adobe Acrobat Connect, Cisco WebEx or Microsoft Live Meeting allow you to share your expertise with a group of people online using visuals. A successful webinar depends on providing solutions for your target audience. Organize your materials. Conduct a couple of dry runs to make sure you will be able to keep the webinar within the allotted time range. Allow some time at the end of the webinar for questions and answers.

4
Create an e-course. The content for an e-course is very similar to what an e-book contains. The biggest difference is that the content is broken down into a series of lessons. Again, it's important to make sure the course meets your target audience's needs. Include resources that can help your readers.
