Boil one carrot in water until it's soft. Then remove the carrot from water. Cut and de-seed an avocado as above and scoop the flesh into a blender, using a spoon. Add the cooked carrot, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1 egg and 3tablespoons of honey to the blender. Blend into a puree. Then apply this mixture to your face for a mask that helps improve skin tone and texture. Rinse off the avocado mask after 10 to 15 minutes.

Scoop the flesh from one half of an avocado into a bowl. Add five to seven drops of almond oil, then mash together with a spoon. Dab the avocado-almond mix underneath your eyes for a soothing eye cream. Rinse away after five minutes.

I also heard that keeping a (whole) pit in the bottom of the guac. serving bowl will keep it looking bright green. There's nothing uglier than gray guac! LOL I'm anxious to try the beauty tips. They sound promising! Thanx for all this info.

I have been eating avocados all my life and have never cut the pit in half as shown in your photo. I also cut my avocado in half, around the seed, remove the seed with knife, but then scoop out the entire half of avocado from each side with a large spoon, put it on a cutting board and then slice it. This saves time and effort in separating the skin from each sliver of avocado. Sometimes I will just take my fresh cut avocado and eat it right out of the skin, with a little lemon and salt. That's very tasty as well.
