How to Add a Website to My Browser
A browser is a software program for viewing websites on the Internet. You can use a browser to visit any one of billions of Web pages around the world. Most browsers offer capabilities to store website addresses to facilitate ease of access to sites that you visit repeatedly. Adding a website to your browser in this fashion is a straightforward process.

1
Use your browser's address bar. If you want to visit a particular website, simply type the address into the address bar at the top of the browser and hit the "Enter" key. As long as the address is a valid URL, and the website is in working order, your browser will open up the Web page.

2
Add sites to your tab homepages. Most modern browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome use tabs to keep several websites open at once. You can have your browser automatically open several tabs at once and open select webpages.
In Internet Explorer (version 7.0 or higher), click on the "Tools" pull-down menu and select "Internet Options." This will open a "Homepage" box where you can type in the URLs of Web pages that you want to open every time you open your browser.
The process is virtually identical in Firefox. With Chrome, click on the monkey wrench icon to get to the homepage options.
