How to Fill a Mont Blanc Fountain Pen

Instructions

1. Unscrew the butt end of the pen as far as you can counterclockwise without taking it off.

2. Dip the tip of the pen (nib) into the ink, but don't let it touch the bottom of the jar.

3. Turn the end of the pen clockwise to operate the piston and fill the pen with ink.

4. Remove the pen by the end and slightly loosen the end of the pen to let out excess ink, then turn the pen upside-down, with the nib in the air. Then tighten it again.

5. Wipe the nib with a piece of cloth or paper and write away.
