How to View Response Headers

A form of information transfer over the Internet, hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) determines the format, method and rules in which Web browsers receive information from servers that host individual websites and Web pages. When Web browsers ask for a document or Web page to be retrieved, the server sends back a response. This HTTP response is also known as a "response header" and contains information about the Web page requested, such as "cookie" information, the date the document or Web page was last modified and the size (in bytes) of the Web page.
