1
Look up a picture of a Halo gun that you would like to make from paper. The Halo series has many different types of guns in the game, there are many to choose from. If you own the game, consider turning on your game console and making a gun that your character has.
-
2
Sketch the gun that you choose on a piece of card stock with the pencil. Draw lightly so that you can erase lines and try again if you make a mistake.
-
-
3
After you have the gun sketched on the paper, cut the design out with the scissors. Do this carefully so that you do not cut away any important parts of your gun and have to start over.
-
4
Color the gun with the colored pencils. This step can be as elaborate or as simple as you would like it to be. For example, you could color the gun solid blue to slightly resemble a Halo gun's color scheme. Or you could color the gun accurate to the game's gun and use three or four separate colors.
-
5
Cut a piece of contact paper a little over twice as long as your Halo gun, so if your gun is 8 inches long from the butt of the gun to the tip, cut the contact paper to be 17 inches long.
-
6
Peel the protective backing off of the contact paper and lay the paper flat out on a table with the sticky side facing up.
-
7
Stick the Halo gun to the contact paper, starting at one end of the paper. Fold the half of the contact paper without the gun stuck to it over onto the gun. Press down firmly to eliminate air bubbles.
-
8
Use the scissors to cut away excess contact paper.
