How to Open QuickBooks

QuickBooks replaces manual accounting.

QuickBooks financial software is designed for small companies to track the flow of money to and from your business. QuickBooks is capable of tracking taxes, payroll, invoices and payments for services as well as providing tax reminders and check writing. This program also allows you to keep multiple company files and provides simple ways to transfer your data to an accountant.

Instructions

1. Double-click the QuickBooks icon on your desktop or find the program on your "Programs" list and select it.

2. Type in your username and password if the correct company file is selected. If not, press "Cancel," select the correct company file and press "Open" before typing in your username and password.

3. Press "OK" to load your company file.

Tips & Warnings

• The default user name for QuickBooks is "Admin."
