Tips & Warnings
Word 2007 has many handy household templates which you can use as is or customize yourself by making your edits and saving as a template rather than just a regular document.
Follow the instructional text within the boxes, which are designed to be edited in the template.
Use the Word 2007 Ribbon menus to edit the template and help make it look attractive.
Save your files clearly named folders in the same way you would store items in a filing cabinet.
Always remember to save your document. Templates function differently from other documents and create a copy of themselves that has to be named in order to be saved.
Remember that changes in font size and style can realign the whole layout of the template.
Many of the templates are linked to Avery Stationery products, such as labels in specific sizes or business cards. The number of the Avery item will be provided on the right-hand side information section. Purchase these items to print your projects on for best results.
