How to Sync Office Files From a Mac to an iPhone
Apple has made the iPhone capable of opening and reading Microsoft Office products like Word and Excel. The problem, though, is being able to access the files you need while on the go, since the iPhone will not allow you to store files on it like a flash drive. With the use of a couple of Apps and services, you can sync your Office files to your iPhone so you can view them anywhere you have cell phone reception.

1
Activate your MobileMe account or sign up for a Dropbox account. MobileMe offers many features, including 10 gigabytes of online storage space. Dropbox, on the other hand, has only one feature, which is online data storage. Dropbox offers its clients 2 gigabytes of free storage and offers more space for a monthly fee. With either of these services, you can store any kind of file.

2
Download either the iDisk or Dropbox App from the Apple App Store. The iDisk App allows iPhone users to have access to their MobileMe online data storage, and Dropbox enables access to a user's Dropbox storage. By downloading the corresponding app, you can have access to your files anywhere you have Internet or 3G access.
