How do I Deactivate the Tracking on a Samsung Tocco? thumbnail
Samsung have launched an impressive range of security features to keep your device safe, and thankfully they are easy to deactivate too.

Samsung Tocco's contain a tracking feature, which is a security application designed to help you locate your phone if it is lost or stolen. It works by monitoring the SIM card, and sending a text message to a preset number every time the phone is used from a different SIM. The message contains the phones IMEI number, so you can block the phone. While this is an excellent feature, it can be expensive and irritating if you change your own SIM, so here's how to turn it off.

Instructions

    • 1

Click "Menu" on the phone's home screen.

    • 2

Locate and click the "Settings" tab.

    • 3

      Select "Security" and then "OK".

    • 4

Select "Mobile Tracker" and set the feature to "Disabled".

    • 5

Enter a security PIN if prompted.

    • 6

Turn the mobile off and back on again.
