How to Monogram Wedding Gifts
A good gift does not have to cost hundreds of dollars nor does a handmade gift have to be considered tacky. Personalizing a long stem glass with the newlyweds' initials is the perfect gift. Even if you do not have any artistic skills, you can monogram a wine glass by using a stencil. Don't worry--you can wash water-based paint off before it dries or flick it off with a razor blade if you make a mistake. A personalized gift is something to remember. If you want to purchase something to have monogrammed, consider a gift that can be used everyday.

3
Rub the glue stick over the back of the lettered stencil. Place the stencil on the glass, and secure it with tape to ensure a tight seal. If you are using more than one initial, visualize the monogram to be creative with the placement.

4
Paint the area using small strokes, working from the edge of the stencil towards the middle of the design, to prevent seepage. This will keep the monogram neat and clean.
