How to Delete Weatherbug

Weatherbug provides weather updates and warnings.

According to the Weatherbug website, Weatherbug is accessed by 19 million people per month. Removing it from a computer is not difficult. A paid subscription requires more action to end automatic payments. Follow Weatherbug's directions for canceling subscriptions when necessary. (See Resources.)

Instructions

1. Close Weatherbug. Right-click on the Weatherbug icon on the lower-right corner of the computer screen. Click "Exit Weatherbug."

2. Click "Start" in the lower-left corner of the computer screen. Depending on which version of Windows being used, click "Settings," then "Control Panel," or just "control Panel" if this option is available from "Start."

3. Double-click "Add or Remove Programs," and then click on Weatherbug in the list of programs.

4. Click the "Add/Remove" button and follow any directions given. This removes Weatherbug from the computer.

Tips & Warnings

• Weatherbug can be reinstalled later, if you want.

• Paid subscriptions require more than removing the program to stop payments to Weatherbug.
