Reset the default location of your ringtone in Windows Mobile to free up some memory.

Windows Mobile is a software operating system used by an array of smart phones. It operates much in the same way that Windows does on PCs. The phone's default ringtone is automatically stored in a ringtones folder. If you'd like to save memory on your phone, you can move it to a different folder.

Instructions

    • 1

Click "Start," "Settings" and then "Sounds."

    • 2

Navigate to the default ringtone. Highlight it and select "Cut."

    • 3

Navigate to the folder where you'd like your ringtone to be stored. You can place it in "My Documents," on your sound card or create a new folder for it.

    • 4

Click an empty space in the folder and click "Paste." Click "Save," and your default ringtone will be moved.
