How to Hide a Utorrent

The program uTorrent helps you download files using torrent technology. Torrents let you download movies, games and other files more quickly than other methods, but large files still take a long time to download. This means that you probably don't want an extra window cluttering up your screen while you work on other things, but you also don't want to close uTorrent, because then the download will stop.

Instructions

1. Open the uTorrent program.

2. Click on the "Options" menu and select "Preferences."

3. Check the "Close to tray" box in the "System Tray" box. Close the program. Look in the bottom right corner of your Windows desktop, and you'll see the uTorrent "U" symbol. This means the program is still running and downloading your files.
