How to Repair a Remote Desktop Connection in XP

Click the "Remote Desktop Connection" page in the resources section.

Click the "msrdpcli.exe" link.

Select "Save" and save the file to your desktop.

Double-click the downloaded file. Select "Run" to reinstall the client, thereby overwriting any faulty files and repairing the utility.
