Tips & Warnings

  • Give your Xbox 360 a little space from your other electronic components. Internet signals can be inhibited by metal objects, interfering with your connection stability. Moving the console just a few inches from your television or other components can greatly improve your Internet connectivity.

  • Your Internet connection must already be transmitted via wireless routing to use the Xbox 360 wireless network adapter. Refer to your router's manual for instructions on how to transmit your wireless signal.

  • The Xbox 360 wireless network adapter is typically sold separately from the console. Purchase yours online, or at any retailer that carries Xbox products.

  • Xbox Live is a paid subscription service. Installing the Xbox 360 wireless network adapter won't give you Xbox Live access without an account in good standing.
