How to Access YouTube With a Proxy

Accessing YouTube with a proxy is easy and only takes seconds.

Using a proxy may allow you to view videos you usually would not have access to. In addition, a proxy provides the ability of anonymity. This means YouTube is unable to track whether you are watching a certain video. Accessing YouTube with a proxy is easy and is similar to accessing any other website with a proxy.

Instructions

1. Double-click your Internet browser's icon to open it.

2. Navigate to a free proxy or paid proxy service. There are dozens of free proxy services, such as Hidemyass.com, freeproxy.ca and Youhide.com (see Resources for links).

3. Type YouTube.com into the proxy's address bar and press "Enter."
