How Do I Put on Avon Concealer?

Many women use concealer to correct dark under eye circles.

Avon makes many different types and shades of concealers. Concealer is a staple to many women's make-up regimen as it hides, covers or conceals dark under eye circles, helps even out skin tone and makes blemishes less visible. An Avon representative can assist you in finding the right type and shade of Avon concealer to suit your needs.

Things You'll Need

• Avon concealer
• Small make-up brush
• Liquid hand soap
• Clean towel
• Face powder

Instructions

1. Choose the type of Avon concealer that's best for you and will meet your needs. Avon has liquid concealer, stick concealer that's a little bit more solid and powdered concealer. Ask your Avon representative to help you select a concealer that has less or more coverage, as needed.

2. Select the correct color for your concealer. The skin by the eyes is typically a close match to the skin on the inside of your wrists. Match paper color swatches to your wrist or ask your Avon representative for a sample of a few colors you think are close.

3. Apply Avon concealer underneath your eyes to cover dark circles. Use a brush for liquid concealer.

4. 

   The entire area directly beneath the eye should have concealer on it.

   Form an arc with the concealer following the shape of the lower eye lid, starting at the inner corner of the eye and working toward the outer corner. Go back to the inner corner and brush concealer from the inner corner in a straight line about 1/2 inch past the under-eye area. Draw the concealer to connect the ends of both concealer lines, which will form a triangle, then fill the middle of the triangle in with concealer.

5. Allow the concealer to sit for a minute. Then pat and blend the concealer using the pad of your pinky finger. Make sure you washed your hands with soap and water first.

6. Powder the under eye area with loose face powder to seal the concealer and help it last longer.
