How to Restore the Navigation Bar at the Top of the Windows in XP
Windows XP provides an Explore feature for navigating Windows XP's folders and files. This feature gives the user a snapshot of all of the computer's directories, folders, subfolders, files, partitions, disk drives, and external devices that are plugged in and ready for use. The easiest way to move through this interface is to have all of the command icons for moving backward and forward, search and file-view changes, on display for a one-click activation.

Selecting these two will populate the upper part of the XP Windows with the command buttons to navigate backward, forward and upward from file to folders, and will allow you to search and change the folder view with one mouse click. The Address Bar will allow you to find a file or folder by typing in the directory address.
