How to Unblock a Program on Spy Doctor
As beneficial and necessary as virus protection is on computers these days, sometimes a virus protection program can cause just as much of a headache as it prevents. For instance, a popular virus protection program like Spyware Doctor will sometimes recognize a beneficial program as a potential hazard. Fortunately, if you accidentally block a program in Spyware Doctor that you want to be able to run on your computer, it is fairly easy to unblock it.

1
Close any other programs you have running, then start and open Spyware Doctor.
-
2
Click the tab labeled "Settings" on the left hand side of Spyware Doctor. On the menu that appears to the right of that, click "Quarantine." This will populate a list of all the files that your Spyware Doctor is currently blocking, including both real threats to your system, and the desirable ones you wish to unblock.

Sort the list by clicking "Threat Name" at the top right. Find the files related to the program you wish to unblock in the name-sorted list, and click on them. If none of the files in the "Threat Name" list sound familiar, you can try sorting by "Date," and narrow your search down to files that were quarantined around the last time you successfully used the blocked program. From there, clicking the "Details" tab will show you where the files were stored on your computer--which should be a great indication if they are what you are looking for. Once you have discovered which files you want to unblock, it's just a matter of clicking the "Restore" at the bottom of the page to remove them from "Quarantine." Do this with as many programs as you would like to restore, and if asked, click "Yes" to continue, and then "OK." Once you are finished, exit Spyware Doctor and restart your computer, in order to make sure the changes are made, and your unblocked program is allowed to initialize.
