  1. Finding a Video Lecture

      Go to a video lecture streaming website. This includes Free Video Lectures, Video Lectures and Learners TV. The Free Video Lectures website is used in this article.

      Choose a subject. Select one from the list or click "Course List" for advanced searches.

      Watch the video. Click the thumbnail image of the video to begin watching. Preview the video to analyze the quality and subject matter.

      Download the video. Click the "Download" link under the video to download an MP4, FLV or 3GP video file. Click "Run" to enable the Java applet. Click "Download FLV > Save File." Go to the Java website to download Java if you do not have it already.

      Go to an FLV Player website. One site in particular is FLV Player 4 Free. Click the free download button and proceed to click "Download Now."

      Install the FLV Player. Click "Finish" upon completion of installation. Restart your computer when done.

      Play the FLV video lecture file. Right-click and select "Open With > FLV Player." The video will now play.

Tips & Warnings

  • Java must be installed in order to download the video file.
