How to Use PC Doctor

Over time, an array of hardware and software settings can cause your computer to become sluggish. While adding more random access memory (RAM) can boost your computer's performance, the problem may simply lie within your computer's settings. But with the help of computer optimization software like PC Doctor, you can give your computer's file system and settings a tune-up and restore your computer's responsiveness.

Instructions

1. Launch PC Doctor and then click on the green "Start Scan" button in the program's main menu.

2. Check the boxes next to the types of scans you'd like to run--select either "Scan all areas of your PC" for a standard scan or "Deep Junk Scan Mode" for an exhaustive scan.

3. Check the boxes next to the type of problems you'd like the PC Doctor scan to cover, like "Registry Problems" and "Disk Cleanup." Click "Next" to begin the scan.

4. Click on a category below the "Scan Results" heading, like "PC Tune" or "Disk Cleanup," to view the recommended fixes in the bottom window of the menu.

5. Check the boxes next to the categories you'd like to address, and check the boxes next to the recommended fixes you wish to implement. Click "Fix Errors" to tune up your PC.
