How to Uninstall Registry Mechanic

      Close all open instances of Registry Mechanic. Check your Windows taskbar for any open instances of Registry Mechanic. Right-click and select "Exit" if an instance is running in the system tray.

      Click on the Windows "Start" button and select "All Programs." Locate the "Registry Mechanic" program folder. Hover your mouse over the folder and select "Uninstall Registry Mechanic" from the list.

      Click on "Yes" and uncheck the box that says "Retain backup and ignored lists." Click on "No, please uninstall" if presented with a special offer. Click "OK" and then "OK" a second time.

      Click on the Windows "Start" button and select "Computer." Double-click on the "C:" drive and enter into the "Program Files" folder.

      Locate the "Registry Mechanic" folder. Right-click the folder and select "Delete." Click "Yes" to confirm your option.
