Import your Gmail contacts into Outlook.

Many people have multiple email accounts. If you have both a Gmail account and a Microsoft Outlook Exchange account, you might want to sync the contacts of the two accounts together. You can do it through the programs' importing and exporting features using a CSV file. A CSV file is a formatted file that houses email contacts.

Instructions

      Log into your Gmail account. Go to the "Contacts" button and click on the "Import" button in the right corner of the screen.

      Click on the "Export" button and then click on all of the contacts you want to export. You can choose "Select All" to export all of them. Click the "CSV" and "Comma Separated Values" button and then click "Export."

      Click on the "Save to Disk" button and press the "OK" button. Choose your desktop to save the file to and then click the "OK" button. Wait for the file to download to your computer's desktop.

      Double-click on the "Outlook" icon on your computer to launch the program. Click on the "File" tab at the top of the screen and then click on the "Import and Export" feature.

      Click on the "Import from another program or file" option and then click "Next." Click "Comma Separated Values" in the next window and then click "Next."

      Click on the "Browse" button in the next window and choose your file from the desktop.

      Click the ""Do Not Import Duplicate Items" tab and then click "Next." Choose "Contacts" from the next menu and then click "Next." Click the "Finish" tab.
