How to Turn on Motorola Predictive Text on a Nextel i880

The Motorola i880, an iDEN phone available on Nextel, Boost Mobile and Southern LINC in the United States, is popular for its push-to-talk functionality, but can also utilize text messages, e-mails and data access for constant communication. The i880 does not feature a QWERTY keyboard, but it is capable of using an advanced text input system called T9 Text Input to predict words and make typing on the phone a more efficient process using the ten number keys.
