Reproducing brilliant color on large sized paper is easy.

The IKON CPP 500 is a 50-page per minute color copier that was manufactured by Konica. It was sold as the IKON CPP 500 and the Konica Minolta Bizhub C 500. Though it is no longer manufactured, it has many advanced copying and printing features along with many user adjustable options. Among these options are the ability to change the paper tray sizes to accommodate different sized paper. The CPP 500 can run statement size to 13-by 19-inch sized paper from its paper drawers, as well as from the optional large capacity paper deck. Depending on the configuration of your CPP 500, you may have up to 4 adjustable paper trays. Check your user's manual and CPP 500 configuration to determine the number of user adjustable paper trays you have.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the paper tray that you want to change. The IKON CPP 500 allows each tray to be adjusted to any of the allowable sizes. Choose the drawer that best fits your needs. If you have the optional large capacity tray, you may be able to change its paper size as well, depending on which model large capacity tray you have attached to the CPP 500.

    • 2

Load the size paper you want into the drawer. Adjust the paper guides to create a snug fit.

    • 3

Close the paper tray. The CPP 500 will run some internal checks, making sure that the paper trays are closed and then it will determine what sized paper is in each tray. The IKON CPP 500 automatically recognizes the paper sizes and will update the user interface touch screen. If your CPP 500 is connected to your network as a printer, the print driver may also be updated automatically. This feature depends on your network and whether or not your network allows for bi-directional communication.
