      Download an FTP client such as Filezilla. Use your FTP client to connect to your Web host.

      In your FTP client, double click on the HTML file you would like to edit. This will open it in your default text editor. Edit it as you normally would and save it. You've made instantaneous changes to your website.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you have a database-driven website, any information generated by your database will not be updated when you edit pages this way. You must edit the database.
