Copying onto 17-by-11 is a simple process.

The Saving 9927 DP copier, manufactured by Ricoh, is a 27 page per minute copier with many features. Among them is the capability to copy onto ledger sized, or 17-by-11 paper. When copying to ledger sized, users of the 9927 have a few options that depend on the configuration of the copier. The Savin 9927 runs at 27 pages per minute but will slow down to roughly half that speed (13 to 14) when running 17-by-11 paper.

Instructions

    • 1

Load the 17-by-11 paper into the stack bypass of the Savin 9927. The bypass tray can handle paper sizes from statement-size up to 17-by-11 paper. Sliding the guides to fit the ledger-size paper will ensure that the paper is fed correctly.

    • 2

Select "Bypass Tray" from paper source options on the control panel of the 9927. When using the bypass tray, you must tell the copier that you want to copy onto the paper loaded in the bypass tray and also what size paper is in the bypass tray. Failure to follow this step may result in the copier using whatever paper it is set to use by default.

    • 3

Load 17-by-11 paper into the user-adjustable paper drawer. If you do not want to use the bypass tray, you can load the 17-by-11 paper into the user adjustable drawer by moving the drawer guides to fit the paper size. Also, turn the paper select dial located in the drawer to indicate the correct paper size.
