The Printer Sharing Won't Work
You share a printer across a network, so other users can send print jobs to the device. Printer sharing is common on large and small networks. It is more beneficial to share a printer rather than have several printers for each user on the network. It saves home and office users money on printer costs. Before you can share a printer, you need to turn on printer sharing on the computer. Without it turned on, your printer is not shared even after configuring it for sharing on the network.
