How to Buy US Currency
If you collect currency and want to add authentic American currency to your collection, you can purchase it through the US Department of Treasury. The US Mint sells a variety of both collector's and circulating coins, while the Bureau of Engraving and Printing sells real, uncut sheets of paper currency.

Go to the United States Mint website. Click on "Shop Online" in the sidebar on the left.

Browse through the products using the categories on the left sidebar. You can purchase rolls and bags of quarters, circulating coins, collector's coins and commemorative items. Click "Add to Cart" underneath the currency you want to purchase.

Click "Shopping Cart" on the top right corner of the page when you are finished browsing. Fill out your billing and shipping information to purchase the currency.
Buy Uncut Sheets of Paper Currency

Go to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing website.

Click on "BEP Store" in the sidebar on the left.

Click "Uncut Currency" in the gray sidebar on the left.

Browse the uncut sheets of American currency. Click "More Info" on the one you want.

Select the size and number of sheets you wish to purchase. Then click "Add to Cart."

Click "Checkout Now" in the gray sidebar on the right when you are finished selecting. Fill out your billing and shipping information to purchase the paper currency.

Tips & Warnings
You can only use circulating currency. All other currency is considered "collector's."
If you are overseas and want to exchange your currency for American currency, go to a major bank, travel agency or legal currency exchanger.
