Microsoft Access is a program that stores data in fields and records. These fields and records are kept inside database tables, which can be acted upon by assorted Access objects. Among these objects are queries and forms, which are used to search the database. If a form becomes too complex or has too many options, a solution may be to use a drop-down box. After the drop-down box has been created, it is possible to change it in the form's "Design View."
