How to Transfer a File Using FTP
FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. FTP is a secure way to transfer files over the Internet. It is typically used by webmasters who are creating Web pages and then uploading the pages to a domain name, which makes the website display for Internet users. Files can be transferred back and forth with FTP. While an FTP address does resemble a Web address, you need to have a FTP client in order to have access to a FTP address.
