2. Conduct an Internet search for "local chat rooms in (your city)."

3. Use your area code or the geographical map to find a local chat room on Friend Finder. Friend Finder requires you to sign up and verify your email address to access all features of the site.

4. Use Yahoo! Messenger. Click "Yahoo! Chat" in the Messenger menu. Click "Regional," then choose your country, state, city and chat room.
