How to Print Double-Sided in Acrobat 8
Whether you are you reviewing a large document or simply want to make a double-sided project, Acrobat 8 gives you the tools necessary. Acrobat's booklet format utilizes both sides of the paper for easy viewing. Not only is this convenient, it also saves paper by using both sides instead of just one side.

1
Select "File," then "Print." A dialog box will give you several options about how you want to print your document. Choose "Booklet Printing."
-
2
Choose "Front side or back side" from the pop-up dialog box for printing double-sided documents on a printer that does not have this feature. This tells the printer to print all odd numbers and then even numbers, depending on your choice.

3
Click "Print" and the front sides of the document will begin printing, then reinsert the paper and print the back sides of the document. Be careful to reinsert the paper the right side up or you will print over the front page. Acrobat 8 automatically calculates the odd and even pages and prints them in the correct order. For example, pages 4 and 1 are printed on the front side of the paper, and then 2 and 3 are printed on the back side of the same sheet.

4
Decide how many sheets you want to print and insert the range in the pop-up dialog box's "Sheets from ... to" fields. To make this easier, simply place zeros in both fields. Then choose if the document will be bound on the left or right, and press "OK." This choice is necessary to leave room for the binding process. Use the Print View feature before printing to confirm the document's settings are correct.
-
5
Fold the paper in the middle when printing is complete to make a booklet. If you have more than four pages, stack them together, staple in the middle and then fold them. If you do not have a stapler large enough to reach the middle, you can still fold the documents and leave them loose. They will still be in booklet form.
