Microsoft Outlook 2007 and 2010 allow you to publish online for free.

Microsoft Outlook offers a chance to organize your schedule using a calendar feature. Sometimes, especially at work, you may need to share you calendar with others. In early versions of Microsoft Outlook, the only way you could share online was through a special service. In most recent versions, however, you can publish your calendar online for free. You do not need any extra services to complete this task.

Instructions

    • 1

Create a calendar in Outlook and maintain it. Click on the calendar icon on the left side of Outlook to access this area. You can create multiple calendars (e.g., personal, work, school).

    • 2

Sign into your Windows Live ID account. If you do not have one, register for one (see Resources). You need this account to publish the calendar online.

    • 3

Right-click on the calendar you wish to publish online. Scroll down to "Publish to Internet" and choose "Publish to Office Online."

    • 4

Choose the time span you wish to publish, when prompted. You can publish one month, three months or even a whole year. Also choose the detail you wish to share within that time span. You can share full or limited details.

    • 5

Choose which permissions to use. You can choose to share the calendar with only people you invite, or with anyone who searches for it (including those who do not have a Windows Live ID). Click "OK" and your calendar will upload for free.
