How to Save SMS Messages to a Computer

At some point, you may have received an SMS message from a family member or a friend that you wanted to save. Whether you fear accidentally deleting if from your phone or your phone simply doesn't offer the option to lock SMS messages, you have the option of safely transferring it to your computer. Sending your SMS message to your computer is nearly as simple as it is receiving the message in the first place.

Instructions

1. Power on your phone. Wait for it to boot completely.

2. Navigate to your inbox through your phone's menu.

3. Highlight the SMS message you wish to send. Navigate the menu and choose to forward the message.

4. Type your email address when prompted to specify the recipient of your message.

5. Press "Send."
