How to Get Wi-Fi Anywhere on an iTouch
The Apple iPod Touch is a touch screen iPod that is also a fully functional computer that fits in your pocket. The iPod Touch has built-in Wi-Fi that allows you to connect to both secured and unsecured Wi-Fi networks anywhere in the world where a Wi-Fi network is available. Once connected to an available Wi-Fi network, you can use your iPod Touch to send instant messages, check your email, surf the web and perform many other tasks that require an Internet connection.

Press the round button at the bottom of your iPod Touch's screen. Slide your finger across the screen to unlock your iPod Touch device.

Tap the "Settings" icon and then select the "Wi-Fi" option. Your iPod Touch will display a list of available Wi-Fi networks. To the right of the network's name you will see a signal strength indicator. Signals can have one to three bars. You may also see a lock icon to the right of the network's name. A lock icon indicates that the network is secured and you will need to enter a password to access the network. Tap on the network you would like to connect to.

Enter the network password, if you are trying to connect to a secure network.

Wait for the iPod Touch to connect to the Wi-Fi network. When you have successfully connected to the Wi-Fi network, a check mark will appear to the left of the network's name.

Press the round button at the bottom of the iPod Touch's screen. You are now connected to the Wi-Fi network.
